Word Perfect
The courses as
outlined are designed by modules,
two modules equal a level.
Each level is taught in a 4 hour training course for $175.00
plus the cost of the Training Manual $22.50 (optional)
Module 1 - Basic WordPerfect
Skills - This course provides an introduction to WordPerfect for Windows 95. The
student will become familiar with exploring WordPerfect, using editing basics, and
character and text formatting. Tasks include working with documents and spell checking.
Module 2 - Formatting Features
- This course covers formatting documents. Tasks include using paragraph and document
formatting, and numbered lists and bullets. The student will also learn how to use Find
and Replace, print documents, and get help.
Module 3 - Enhancing Documents

This course covers many of the features that are used to enhance documents. The student
will learn how to use advanced page formatting, graphics and watermarks, and borders and
fills. Tasks include working with columns and styles, using headers and footers, and page
numbers.
Module 4 - Productivity Tools

This course covers the features necessary for better productivity. The students will
learn how to manage multiple documents, work with tables, and advanced printing. Tasks
also include using Grammatik, and the Thesaurus.
Module 5 - Working with Long
Documents -
This course covers many of the features that are used to enhance long
documents. Students will learn how to use automatic outlining, work with styles, use
footnotes and comments, and create hidden text and bookmarks. Tasks also include creating
a table of contents, an index, and a table of authorities.
Module 6 - Merging Files -
This course covers the features on merging files. Students will learn how to use the Merge
feature and work with and sort data files. Tasks also include merging selected records,
labels, and envelopes and working with macros.

.Module 7 - Advanced Features
- This course covers many advanced features of WordPerfect. Students will learn how to
work with columns and use tables for columnar documents. Tasks also include working with
spreadsheet features and using templates.
Module 8 - Graphic Features and
Web Documents -This course covers the features used with graphics and web documents.
Students will learn how to use graphics boxes, combine text and graphics, work with
images, and create graphics lines. Tasks also include creating Text Art, using the Equation
Editor, and creating and enhancing web pages.
