INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT EXCEL 2002
PARTICIPANTS
Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2002 is designed for people who have prior
experience with Microsoft
Windows 98 or XP and are involved with the production of spreadsheets.
PREREQUISITES
Students must have completed Introduction to Microsoft Windows 98 or
Microsoft Windows XP.
OBJECTIVES
Students will develop a thorough understanding of the Excel environment and
spreadsheet concepts. Specific
objectives are listed below and at the beginning of each chapter of the
workbook. Hands-on exercises test the
students’ mastery of the topics at the end of each chapter.
STRUCTURE
The course is presented through a combination of instructor-led lectures and
hands-on exercises, aided by a
step-by-step workbook and an exercise disk. Sample data files are provided on
the exercise disk so students
spend less time typing and more time learning.

Excel’s more advanced
features.

Students must have completed Intermediate Microsoft Excel 2002.

Students will learn how to use Excel’s advanced data management features, such
as pivot tables, sorting,
AutoFiltering, and AutoOutlining. Goal Seek, the Solver, the Scenario Manager,
macros, object linking and
embedding, sharing, protecting, and Web and networking features will also be
