POPFile is installed and running on our server
and can classify messages. It is up to your email client to take
further action based on POPFile's classification.
The Two
Classifications we are currently using are:
Spam
Email
These
classifications are located in the headers and you will use the
X-Text-Classification: Spam
and
X-Text-Classification: Email
to set up your email
clients' filters.
The following links will give you step by step
instructions on how to set up filtering for the major email client
software programs.
Once the filters are set up your email program,
it can now filter out the spam that POPFile is detecting and
classifying into separate folders. Then you can review as you
wish and delete as needed.
Feel free to give support a call if you need help
with these instructions.
